Step 1: Point your "CName" record to "bricabox.com"*
Wherever you've registered your domain name (Go Daddy, Network Solutions, 1and1, etc) there will be an option somewhere in the domain management to use a custom "CName" record. You need to edit this record and point the domain, or subdomain that you are using, to "bricabox.com". IMPORTANT: This could take a day or so to "propagate", so give yourself some time before moving on to Step 2. Here's a screenshot of what your domain registrar's page may look like:

Step 2: Change your domain settings in the "Admin" section of your BricaBox*
After a day or so that you've pointed your "CName" record to our servers, log in to your BricaBox site and then go into the "Custom Domain Settings" part of the Admin section (http://yourbricabox.bricabox.com/admin/general/domain). Enter in your new domain (leaving out the "http")
# *STEP 3: Google Maps*
If you're going to use maps (you probably will, so do this step anyway), you need to go to get an API key for your maps.
Head to: "http://code.google.com/apis/maps/signup.html":http://code.google.com/apis/maps/signup.html , go to the bottom of the screen and type in your url.
*IMPORTANT*: make sure you don't include your subdomain when applying for a key; that means leave out "www." or "directory." or whatever else. Instead, just get a key for "http://mydomain.com/
the cname is setup and dns redirects me to the ip of bricabox.com but the page won’t load. The headers are there. The webserver is responding and sending the headers but the page is blank. How does bricabox.com get the correct bricabox to load?
